Would you like to get exclusive access to the best bargains before anyone else and have a sneak peek at all the fantastic items Dress on a Dime has to offer? Volunteering is the perfect solution! Not only do you get the chance to shop first, but it's also fun and rewarding. You can volunteer for as little as one shift or as many as ten. Here's how it works:
Consignors typically receive a base commission of 60%. However, consignors who volunteer for just one 3-hour shift earn a 65% commission and gain eligibility to shop at the private pre-sale before the event, as well as the 50% off private sale on Sunday. By volunteering for two 3-hour shifts, consignors can boost their commission to 70%, enjoy earlier admission to the private pre-sale, and access the private 50% off sale before the public. Those who volunteer for three 3-hour shifts also earn a 70% commission, gain earlier admission to the private pre-sale and 50% off sale, and receive a $15 gift card to use at the Dress on a Dime sale. It's important to note that ALL consignors are required to volunteer for at least one hour during either drop-off or breakdown of the sale, in addition to any shifts worked for additional commission percentage. Please refer to the sale location pages for pre-sale dates and times. These benefits are general guidelines, so it's advisable to check with your specific location for details and participation.
For non-consignors who want to shop the pre-sale without selling, volunteering for one 3-hour shift before the private pre-sale grants eligibility for the event. Volunteering for two 3-hour shifts also qualifies for the private pre-sale and the 50% off private sale on Sunday. We greatly appreciate your hard work and time in advance! Your contribution is invaluable to the success of the sale. While we adore children, please note that they are not permitted during your volunteer shift.
Volunteer shifts tend to fill up fast. If your preferred time slot is full, don't hesitate to email us, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Your time is genuinely appreciated and contributes significantly to the success of the sale! There's a wide variety of shifts available to suit everyone's schedule, including tasks like setting up racks and tables, inspecting incoming items, assisting consignors with placing items on the selling floor, organizing items for the cashier, tidying up the selling floor, and more. If you don't see a suitable shift, reach out to us anyway, and we'll find a solution together. Remember, you don't have to be a consignor to volunteer.
